Traffic 1971 is a French comedy film and the last cinema outing for Jaques Tati’s Character ‘Monsieur Hulot’. Co written, directed by and starring the French cinema Legend, this film has Monsieur Hulot as a automobile designer who has to take his latest design, a camper van, from Paris to an Auto show in Amsterdam to promote it. Accompanied by two colleagues it follows the events and mishaps during the journey to the auto show. Although the artwork for this rare British Quad is uncredited, it was designed taking inspiration from the whimsical nature of the ‘Monsieur Hulot’ films and produced by Jaques Tati himself. This design being completely different to any other countries poster design, is now a very rare collectible piece.
