The Walking Stick is a 1970 film adaptation of the 1967 crime drama novel by Winston Graham. The film stars David Hemmings as a struggling artist and Samantha Eggar as an introverted shop girl who limps due to polio as a child. The film charts their meeting and his efforts to open the world to her and then her efforts to help him become successful, at least financially. This poster was designed by one of Poland’s leading film poster designers, Wasilewski, and is striking in it’s imagery relating to the films title, using bold colours in it’s contemporary design. Slightly smaller in size than the usual Polish poster and is linen backed. The poster is ready to be added to a collection or as a stand alone piece of modern art.
