The Vampire Lovers is a Hammer Horror productions gothic horror film from 1970. It is taken from Sheridan Le Fanu’s 1872 novella Carmilla, from the Karnstein trilogy. This one being the first, and followed by ‘Lust for a Vampire’ (1971) and finishing with ‘Twins of Evil’ (1971). The film stars Hammer regulars Kate O’Mara, Ingrid Pitt, and Peter Cushing. Supporting them this time are George Cole, Madeline Smith, Dawn Adams, Douglas Wilmer and Jon Finch. A very daring film for it’s time considering it’s quite graphic lesbian theme. This is a very rare American release One Sheet Poster in vivid and still vibrant technicolour and has the added advantage of being signed by Hammer Scream Queen Kate O’Mara.
