The Nightmare Before Christmas 1993 is an American fantasy in the gothic style and filmed in stop-motion. It originally came about as a film from a poem written by Tim Burton who also conceived the characters as a pet project 10 years previously in the early 80’s. Although Burton stayed on as producer the film was directed by Henry Selick, and the characters were voiced by Danny Elfman, who also wrote the songs and score, Chris Sarandon, Catherine O’Hara, William Hickey, Glenn Shadix, Paul Reubens, Ken page and Ed Ivory. The story centres around the main Character, King Of Halloween Town, Jack Skellington and his discovery of the Christmas Holiday and his obsession with celebrating it. The poster features imagery of the characters originally sketched by Tim Burton.
