From His childhood, to the forming of the band THE DOORS, through his difficult time dealing with stardom, to his premature death at the height of his fame at the age of only 27. Co written and directed by Oliver Stone the film stars Val Kilmer in the lead role and he is supported by Meg Ryan, Kevin Dillon, Kyle MacLachlan, Frank Whaley, Michael Madsen, Billy Idol and Kathleen Quinlan. Original music by THE DOORS was used as the films soundtrack. This poster was designed by the renowned artist Drew Struzan in his signature style depicting a full on portrait of Jim Morrison.
