MONSTER FROM THE UNKNOWN WORLD - 1961 UK Quad original film poster

£250.00

MONSTER FROM THE UNKNOWN WORLD 1961 is a peplum genre film, popular in the late 1950's to the mid 1960's mass produced in Italy and also known as Sword and sandal dramas. This example was one of the more popular releases and had a wonderful poster to go with it. Directed by the genre master himself, Antonio Leonviola, and starring Gordon Mitchell (name reversed on the poster credits) Vira Silenti, Paul Wynter and Chelo Alonso. The composition of this poster is all you need to soak up the 'vibe' of the times and the colours are still so bright and vibrant for a 63 year old poster they still 'pop out' as if it's 1961... Very rare and highly collectible indeed.

Release date: 1961

Distributed by: Compton Cameo Films

Directed by: Antonio Leonviola

Size: UK Quad 30 inches x 40 inches

Condition: Excellent
