








DR NO 1962 - UK QUAD ORIGINAL FILM POSTER 30 X 40 PAPER BACKED
Dr. NO is a 1962 film introducing to the cinematic world Ian Fleming’s character James Bond. Taken from the author’s 1958 novel of the same name. Starring the relatively unknown Scottish actor Sean Connery as the British MI6 super agent and supported in his first outing by the European starlet Ursula Andress as ‘Honey Ryder’. The film, although made on a modest budget, was an enormous success globally and catapulted the two stars to international superstardom, which never wained such was the legacy created by that first film. A sixty year franchise was born which made stars out of the actors who appeared in subsequent Bond films. This original 1962 ‘country of origin’ poster is presented in excellent condition and has been backed on to grade 5 Japanese paper for the purpose of conservation only. Previously in the past, March 2019, this poster sold at Sotheby’s for over $115,000- !
