Dial M For Murder is a 1954 Alfred Hitchcock classic based the the very successful stage play by Fredrick Knott who also wrote the screen play. The film tells the story of the events of a botched murder arranged by a playboy husband who’s broke and wants to inherit his wealthy wife’s money. Fearful of a divorce which will leave him penniless, as unbeknown to his wife he knowns she is having an affaire with a mutual friend of theirs. As per a Hitchcock film all does not go according to plan. In the leads are Grace Kelly and Ray Milland, supported by original members of the stage play that include Robert Cummings and John Williams. This 1982 3D edition poster reproduces the original artwork by Bill Gold from the 1954 first release.
