Alice's Restaurant is an American comedy film inspired by the 1967 folk song 'Alice's Restaurant Massacree' which was written and sung by Arlo Guthrie who also stars in the film. Pat Quinn takes the title role and they were both supported by James Broderick, Pete Seeger, Lee Hays and William Obanhein. At the helm was director (and co writer) Arthur Penn, fresh off his huge success with Bonnie and Clyde. A great looking poster in it's simplicity, summing up the theme of the film.
